JANUARY
Inspired by the demonstration in Tunisia that had forced the resignation of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, thousands of youthful Egyptians gathered in downtown Cairo on Police Day. This day is normally dedicated to officers who died in the British War. The Crowd gathered to stipulate the President Hosni Mubarak to resign. He was a cruel activist and ruled the country thirty years without any competitor.
FEBRUARY
The Libyan revolution 2011 was an fortified conflict in the North African state. It was fought between armed forces of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and those who opposed the government. The war was headed by remonstrations in Benghazi commencing from 15 February 2011. This led to conflicts with security forces that fired up on the crowd. The protests arose into a rebellion that wide-spread across the country. This was one of the most cruel even the year 2011 has seen.
MARCH
On, March 11, 2011 dwellings were swept by water following a tsunami and earthquake in Natori City in north-eastern Japan. A massive 8.9 magnitude quake stroked northeast Japan, causing disasters and deaths. There were quite a lot of strong aftershocks and a warning tsunami following the quake. This not only caused buildings to shake violently, but also became the root cause of the nuclear plant leakage in the capital Tokyo. The biggest ever tsunami in the worlds history.
APRIL
April 2nd, India won the 2011 Cricket World Cup after 28 years. India earlier won the world cup in the year 1983. This time it defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final, played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India. Billions of spectators watched the Finals, possibly the most-viewed sports event ever.
Billions of people watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. A news site estimated that at least a million people gathered around the streets, half a million line in front of Buckingham Palace. More than billion might have watched the live telecast over television and websites to see this wedding event. Middleton receives ramble reviews for trying a contemporary wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton.
MAY
Osama bin Laden, an international terrorist who head of the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda, was killed in Pakistan on Monday, May 2, 2011. The operation set by the United States President Barack Obama, code-named Operation Neptune Spear, and passed out in a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operation. A team of United States Navy from the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, with support from CIA operatives on the ground. They raided on bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan, a small village called Abbottabad. Then after verification they threw his body it at sea.
JUNE
The image shown above is a a volcano erupt in Puyehue-Cordon Caulle. This is a continuation of of south-central Chile erupted. This volcano was dormant for a long time precisely over fifty years. The Chile government announced millions to evacuate from Puyehue. The erruption threw its sparkles more than 10 km tall and a 3 mile radius was estimated. Now Argentina started getting crowded as most chile residents migrated here. Volcanic ashes were spread for over 100 miles. A bitter event that happened after several years. The last volcano ever seen here was in the year 1960.
JULY
On July 22, 2011, at least a 100 people were killed in the bomb blast of a government building in central Oslo and a shooting rampage at a youth camp at an island near the capital.

AUGUST
Hurricane Irene caused severe financial damage. Destruction from the storm was less than originally feared. Devastation modeler AIR Worldwide has covered thrashing estimates between $3-$6 billion from Irene. the above is a pictorial view from the satellite. It shows the affected areas.
SEPTEMBER
Sindh floods, a disaster began around mid-August 2011 during the monsoon season of Pakistan. This resulted in heavy rains in Sindh, flodding eastern Balochistan, and southern Punjab. The floods have caused a massive damage; over the news it was estimated that around 400+ civilians died, with over 5 million people and more than 1 million homes affected. Sindh often called the "breadbasket" of the country, but now the damage and toll of the floods on the local economy is widespread. Around 2 million acres of arable land have been immersed as a result of the flood. Extraordinary pouring downpour rains caused severe damage in sixteen districts of Sindh province
OCTOBER
Dennis Ritchie The American computer scientist Dennis Ritchie, who has died aged 70 after suffering from cancer and heart disease, was one of the co-inventors of the Unix operating system and the C programming language. Unix and C provided the infrastructure software and tools that created much of today's computing environment – from the internet to smartphones – and so have played a central part in shaping the modern world.
Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind Apple's iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes, has died, Apple said. Jobs was 56. Jobs died peacefully, surrounded by family members, his family said in a statement. In recent years Jobs had fought a form of pancreatic cancer and had a liver transplant.
Wilson Greatbatch, the inventor cardiac pacemaker. Most of us ignored him. But he has saved countless lives with his invention was marvelous. He was 92 when he died. People nick named him as 'humble tinkerer'. He owned more than 325 inventions, and has a credit of over 170 patents
Muammar Gaddafi, the deposed leader of Libya, died on 20 October 2011 during the 2011 Libyan civil war. Gaddafi was captured alive after his convoy was attacked by NATO warplanes as Sirte fell on 20 October 2011. He was then beaten and killed by NTC forces. At the time of his death, Gaddafi was 69 years old.
NOVEMBER
Hosts India lifted the winners title in the men's and women's section of the second World Cup Kabaddi tournament in Ludhiana. The India men team easily beat the Canada side 59-25 in the final match played at the Guru Nanak Dev stadium in Ludhiana on late Sunday. India was the winner of the inaugural edition of the World Cup Kabaddi 2010 also.
DECEMBER
Ending The War in Iraq: A Promise Kept.
President Obama himself has been relatively low-key about the end of the Iraq War. Over the last three years, nearly 150,000 U.S. troops have left Iraq. And over the next few days, a small group of American soldiers will begin the final march out of that country. One of the most extraordinary chapters in the history of the American military will come to an end. Iraq's future will be in the hands of its people. America's war in Iraq will be over
